Quality health care

Dear friends and colleagues,

I am writing to announce the launch of our powerful new web-based resource called QualityHealthCare.org. Our vision is that
QualityHealthCare.org, free and open to all, will be the premier online resource for anyone, anywhere who is interested in improving
health care.

The first fully-functioning topic area of QualityHealthCare.org addresses Patient Safety. Led by Lucian Leape, MD, and driven by a distinguished group of advisors, the Patient Safety area features a wide variety of change concepts, measures, resources, improvement
stories, and downloadable tools to help you improve care. Vibrant discussion groups and “Find a Colleague” search technology allow you
to share with your peers and learn more about best practices in the field.

Future topics include Chronic Disease, Critical Care, End-of-Life Care, Flow, HIV/AIDS, Leadership, Office Practices, and Workforce
Development.

On March 13, we officially announced the site to the press at the Washington, DC, conference of the National Patient Safety Foundation.
We invite you to register and begin using the site. It’s free and open to all. Just click on the link (or copy and paste it into your web browser). Feel free to share the link with your colleagues.

Welcome to http://www.QualityHealthCare.org

Sincerely,

Don Berwick, MD
